Web Assignment: Search the Web on the Ecotourism Industry

To complete this assignment successfully, you should:

	Read the assignment carefully.
	Complete the search as outlined.

You will be asked to find information about "Ecotourism" using the World Wide Web. This assignment will help you develop your web searching skills.

1. Open your browser and choose the "search" key. In the search line, type the word "ecotourism".

List the first five (5) sites that come up, be sure to include the site's names and the complete URL (web address) for each site.

Be sure to include which search engine (browser) you used.

Write a one paragraph overview of what kinds of sites were found.

2. Select one of the web sites that interests you and write a paragraph about what type of information is in the site and how it is organized. Were the sites you found related to ecotourism? If not, how would you refine your search to find "ecotourism" sites? Include the complete web address (URL) for the web site selected.
