
2008 Verde River Canoe Challenge Information
Location: The race start is on Route 260, at White Bridge Park, just east of Camp Verde. The end of the race is at Beasley Flats, a National Forest Service Recreation Area approximately 10 miles downriver from the start. A seven mile check point is located at the Clear Creek parking area. The river difficulty is class 1-3 depending on the river level.

Background Information: The first year for the Verde River Canoe Challenge was in 2000. It was modeled after the Adobe Whitewater Club's Mothers Day Race in Pilar, NM. The VRCC is an American Canoe Association sanctioned event.
