PARADE DATE: Saturday, March 18th, 2000 (Note: First day of Spring Break for Sedona Schools)

ENTRY DEADLINE: February 21st, 2000

THEME: 2000 Shamrocks

LINE-UP TIME: 9:00 a.m. for float judging and entry positioning

START TIME: 10:00 a.m.

PARADE ROUTE: Begins at Jordan Historical Park, south on Jordan Road, turns west on Mesquite and disperses south down Wilson Road.

HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS: Please, no floats exceeding 12 feet

LENGTH RESTRICTIONS: Please, no float or vehicular entries over 50 feet (exceptions require pre-approval and additional entry fees may apply)

Entries will be judged on originality and compatibility with parade theme. The Parade Committee reserves the right to accept/reject entry qualifications to be a part of the 2000 Sedona St. Patrick's Day Parade.

All entries must CONTINUOUSLY MOVE FORWARD on the parade route.

Your parade position and other information will follow after February 21st.

HANDOUTS, AND/OR THROWING OF CANDY BY PARTICIPANTS IS ALLOWED. DISTRIBUTION OF CANDY, FOR THE CHILDREN, IS ENCOURAGED. ALL CANDY MUST BE IN ORIGINAL WRAPPERS.

NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL BE CONSUMED BEFORE OR DURING YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE PARADE AND PARADE ACTIVITIES.

INDEMNIFICATION CLAUSE:  

I/We hereby voluntarily release the Sedona Main Street Program, the City of Sedona, Northern Arizona Parks and Recreation Management Program, all other sponsoring organizations and individuals, the State of Arizona, any and all of its departments, agencies, officers, or employees, and all parade committee workers from any and all liability in any way arising from injuries, losses, and damages to person and property that might be sustained or received in connection with said parade. I/We have read and I/We do agree with the above provision.
