bulletPick up/purchase oranges & bananas; twenty lbs. of each for finish area.
bulletConduct final river safety trip.
Day of Canoe Challenge
bullet6:30 AM: set up registration area & decorate tables (banners).
bullet6:30 AM: set up Start and finish banners.
bullet7:00 AM: shuttle vans at Beasley Flats.
bullet7:00 AM: traffic pointers on locations.
bullet7:00 AM: parking staff on locations (White Bridge & Beasley Flats).
bullet8:00 AM: safety boaters on-river to assigned locations.
bullet9:00 AM: set up and staff Clear Creek site.
bullet9:00 AM: set up and staff timing and finish line recording tables (2) & chairs (4).
bullet10:00 AM: Canoe Challenge starts (five waves 15 minutes apart by category - kayaks/tandem canoe/solo canoe/family canoe/inflatables)
bullet10:30 AM: close down White Bridge and move to Beasley Flats.
bullet11:30 AM: OR when last boater is in, Award ceremony.
bullet1:00 PM: OR when last boater is in, pick up and clean up all tables, food, drink and equipment. Return CV equipment.
bullet1:00 PM: Record & POST all winners and their times and give a copy to Matt & Chuck.
bulletReturn all supplies, radios, and equipment to the appropriate location.
bulletPrepare and fax out final press release with event information and winners list.
April 5
bulletCanoe Challenge review and evaluation.
bulletComplete Canoe Challenge budget.
bulletSend out Thank You letters to donors and sponsors.
