How this course is taught
For an overview of how this course is taught on the internet, read the Getting Started page.

Computer Hardware
To take advantage of the multi-media elements in this web site, it is recommended that you have at least
the following:

Pentium Processor or better
Modem (56 K recommended) or other connection to the internet
Sound capabilities (ie: a sound card & speakers)
Monitor capable of displaying at least 256 colors
Mouse and Keyboard

Browser
This site is best viewed with Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer but also typically work fine in Firefox or Safari. For best results, make sure Java and JavaScript are enabled in your browser preferences and that you are operating the latest update of your particular browser.
