Computer Applications: ActiveNet Program Registration Project

Program Registration Project

Objective: The purpose of the project is to allow students the opportunity to integrate the workbook assignments into a complete program registration project. By creating new program/class activities, and generating the reports associated with that activity, the student will demonstrate a working knowledge of the ActiveNet program.

A PRM Graduate Testimonial
I just wanted to let you know that I got hired as a Youth and Sports Program assistant at the City of Litchfield Park Arizona. I am really enjoying it.
Its part time but I do have benefits and I am learning a lot. We are actually just starting to get ready to start our computer programs for registration January 5th.
In the interview they asked if I had any experience with computer software and I said I took a class for it in college and I think that helped me get hired.
I do see how that class is important so everyone has somewhat of an idea about the software because a lot of places are starting to use them.

Common Problems

This assignment gives you valuable experience in activity registration. It is not difficult but requires your time and attention to detail. Here are some of the problems students have.

  1. Be sure you have completed the online workbook. Not giving yourself enough time to complete the workbook (approximately 6 hours for the workbook and 1 hour for the project).
  2. Not reading the project guidelines carefully.
  3. Make sure you print the exact report requested, many reports are often not the correct report.
  4. Make sure all reports are complete.
